Aevus

About

We’re building the safe way for agents to do fund work

Private-markets firms want AI to take on real operational work. The obstacle isn’t intelligence; it’s trust. Aevus exists to close that gap.

Why now

Agents are ready to work. The back office isn’t ready for agents.

Fund operations run across administrators, banks, data rooms and spreadsheets that were never designed for software to act on. Giving an agent direct access is a non-starter for any firm with fiduciary duties.

Aevus sits in between. It exposes those systems as a small set of permissioned actions, computes every number deterministically, routes anything irreversible to a person and records it all. Firms get the speed of agents with the controls their LPs and auditors expect.

How we work

Four principles we don’t trade away

  • Neutral by design

We don’t build the agent. We make any agent safe to use, so you never bet your controls on one vendor.

  • Deterministic where it counts

Language models write and reason. Code that is tested does the math. We never blur that line.

  • People stay accountable

Agents can prepare anything. Only people release money, filings and messages to LPs.

  • Fail closed

When data is stale or a system misbehaves, Aevus stops and asks, rather than guessing.
