Head of Fund Operations
Make sure Aevus does fund operations work exactly right, and help our first customers put it to work.
Responsibilities
- Customer rollouts: map each firm’s process, systems and approval rules, and run Aevus alongside their team until the results match.
- Defining what correct means: test cases with known answers for capital calls, distributions, waterfalls and LP reporting.
- Reviewing the engine’s numbers and side-letter handling before any customer relies on them.
- Shaping the product with engineering: which workflows come next and how their controls should work.
- Joining conversations with CFOs and COOs as the person who has done the job.
What you’ll bring
- Experience as a fund controller or fund accountant, or at a fund administrator, for private equity, private credit or venture funds.
- Deep, hands-on knowledge of capital calls, distributions, waterfalls, capital account statements and ILPA reporting.
- You can explain fund operations clearly to engineers and to CFOs.
- You want to help build an early-stage company.
Nice to have
- Experience with fund administration and investor portal software.
- A CPA or equivalent qualification.
- You have led a systems implementation or migration at a fund.
